Projects

Well, funny thing. I started flipping through my cell phone pictures, and I captured one of the scarf I just finished last week for my friend in Minnesota. The picture was dated February 25th. Argh!

On the brightside, I started another scarf, 19 stripes of 24 rows, knitted in the round...and I'm 10 stripes done, and I started it last Tuesday. Think I've gotten a bit better at this. *smile*

I'm waiting for the labels my mother so wonderfully purchased for me before I send it to him. I'm excited and can't wait for them to come in. She got them from this site.

Hopefully I'll have those at the end of the week, or the the start of next.

I'm ready for payday! I am very ready to start the Afghan on Brooklyn Tweed 's site. It is the one from Elizabeth Zimmerman. I haven't decided what color I would like to do it in, but I'm thinking wonderful earth tones, so either a brown, or a rusted color.

I should have an order coming in from Twist very soon. New needles. The Opinionated Knitter book, with that afghan pattern in it.

My friend and I are also trying to schedule a trip to Lawrence soon to check out the Yarn Barn and some of their yarn, but that's a ways off. Probably a few months once we get moved in and things and some money saved.

Still though, I'm excited and have so many things I definitely want to be working on...but first, shots for Bailey tomorrow. That'll be...fun. *rolls eyes*
