9 hours

Yup. I think that's how many hours I spent yesterday. Friday was so productive, I wanted to continue into Saturday.

Work has been so crazy, we really haven't had any time off. So my awesome boss said "Pick a day: Saturday or Sunday. And do NOTHING. Don't open your e-mail. Don't attempt any work."

I went one better. I shut the e-mail off all day Saturday. Granted, I wasn't really home at all Saturday, but I didn't open that thing until 11 pm last night. I'm rather proud of myself!

My progress yesterday...probably not so great.

Did KIP at 8...spent two hours knitting there on a mitt. Then off to Twist where I spent 2 1/2 hours killing time until the Vintage Knit Along at 1. I did finish one mitt (Except for the turning under the picot edge.) So, that's something! Shara's really going to like these mitts, they look really good.

Then, for the knit along...181 cast on stitches...30 of those dropped, then put back on...I've finished...row two. Yes, row two of that dress.

Honestly, as little as that is...it was a feat. Laceweight is just ridiculous. But the conversations at the table were equally ridiculous in a fun way. Love the sassy Brit (Susan) heading this up. And now Jennie's joined...and of course she's going to knock her Cami-knickers out in no time, but it's really a lot of fun. I might actually work a bit more on mine this week so I have more done by the next time I go. :D

I'll have pictures when there's more to share, until then, Knit On.
