And now, to hopefully satiate everyone's anticipation...a post!

It's not that exciting a I assure you. I've already been given the verbal warning "Honey, you're spreading yourself too thin...again." I'm paying attention to it...sort of.

Well, slight explanation to my absence. Work is a given, yes, but I've been working hard to get ready for a dance recital. Another lady and myself were asked to stage a "fight" for a costume change for one of the local Dance Studio's recitals. That happens this coming weekend, so we've been having a lot of extra fencing practices for this bit of fun and that's kept me pretty much away from my "Sit for hours and drink coffee and chat" on Saturdays. I've been reduced to one hour of knitting! ACK! The horror!

Toss on top of that, I've been trying to get back into the swing of writing and singing again. Singing is there, writing needs some work, but a few friends and I have this scheme, okay I have a scheme and they're following me, Gods know why, of playing more music together. I'll let everyone know where that goes.

But as you can guess, not much has been tossed off the needles yet. Except this!

I have finally finished the Harry Potter Bag. It received a liner last night, complete with Zipper! (Thanks to Amber that worked those sewing skills she has, because if I did it, it wouldn't hold up!) And I put the fringe on the bottom today. Looking swanky!

I plan to take it with me to California. That's right, hopefully, if it's still on, I'll get to leave Sunday for a short trip to San Diego to spend some working next to the "Commander." Him doing his thing, me doing mine. Hoping the plane will let me take my knitting with me. Thinking that with my luck, I will be horribly denied.

I have also been making some headway on a sock! Yes, just the one. I'm getting there though. See!

By the way, the lovely slate tile in the background...That's my Coffee Table! /squee!!! I got that and a baker's rack this weekend. Happy Ash is Happy!
