So, this has been a fun filled exciting day. I found a desk. I've been looking for a few weeks, and nothing was really catching my eye. I was going to settle *shudders at the thought of "Settling" on a desk from Wal-mart, which means particle board, etc, but it was the only one that was resonably priced and would be big enough.

Well, that idea is in the trash because I found this! An antique wooden desk. Needs a run over with pledge, probably the one with scratch remover that my roommate is hell bent on finding now.

It's in really good shape. Only one handle is missing, and I do mean the handle. Amazingly, that handle's fasteners are both with the desk. So, trying to decide if I just want to replace all of the handles on it...all 9 of them, or attempt to find another handle that matches. That might not be possible. All the drawers work too. Nothing is falling off of it, or broken, or is missing chunks...yeah! And for $75...I think I got a bargain!
